When you type www.HotButteredIT.com, this is translated to machine language as 69.89.31.212 - the IP address for Hot Buttered IT - and ultimately results in the web pages loaded in your browser.
By using OpenDNS’s nearest data center and their routing technology, the translation from web site name to IP address occurs much faster, resulting in faster browser page loading for you.
