How to Use the Google Chrome Browser to Search

The Google Chrome browser has some nifty search secrets including the ability to create your own search keywords based on specific search topics and specific search engines. So, you can actually search using Yahoo search directly from the Google address bar, and use your own saved keyword query. A picture is worth a thousand words (cliche – I know) which is why I created a video explaining this Chrome browser search tricks.

What Time Is It in Moscow?

What time is it in Moscow or London or Beijing? Let Google help. Using the search field located on the  Google Toolbar or on the Google homepage, simply type current time in then the city or country name - for example, current time in Moscow returns 5:59am Wednesday (MSD) - Time in Moscow, Russian Federation. Typing a country name will return the time for each time zone, for example current time in Canada returns:

9:58pm Tuesday (EDT) - Time in Ottawa, Canada

Newfoundland   11:28pm    NDT    
Halifax   10:58pm    ADT    
Winnipeg   8:58pm    CDT    
Regina   7:58pm    CST    
Edmonton   7:58pm    MDT    
Vancouver   6:58pm    PDT    

So, before you call your friend in a foreign country and wake him up at 3:00am, consider using Google beforehand to determine the local time.

Limit Google Search Results by Selecting a Country Site
