NoScript
If there was only one security add-on I would recommend, this is it. Active scripts from websites are used by the “bad guys”. Using NoScript, you can specify which sites to trusts and allow to run active content. Active content is often needed to ensure complete website functionality, but why not decide which websites to trust!?

  1. Great list ! Adblock plus and Personas seem good. Another add-on that I really like is Billeo. It securely saves my passwords and I can easily access, edit or delete them anytime. The tool is VeriSign secured and also compatible with the new Firefox 3.5.
